May Meeting: News from NAB
Join us for our monthly meeting as we take a look at the news from this year's NAB show. There were plenty of presentations showing FCPX and lots of new hardware to make your editing experience better. This month's meeting will be held on the 2nd Tuesday, the 12th of June. This is because there are 48 Hour Film Project screenings on the 1st Monday. And speaking of the 48, that's what we'll be discussing. Both Mike and Robin will be showing the workflow they used on the short films they cut. We'll look at workflow native to FCPX and the use of third party plugins to help speed things along.

For this month's meeting, we'll take a look at the updated audio plugins built into FCPX and dive into the basics of EQ, compressors and noise removal. Then we'll show you have to save your own presets for your favorite effects so you can save time, and then we'll do a quick overall sound mix using the roles-based audio lanes.
